Special Orders

We are happy to do special orders/commissions on pottery, and will work with you to design a piece that fits your needs.  Due to the time needed to design and fulfill a special order, all special orders are held to the following terms:

1.  Special orders require a deposit of 50% of the total cost, due once we have agreed on the project details.  You will not be charged, except for the deposit, until the order is ready for delivery.  When your order is completed, we will contact you for final billing and delivery/shipping information.

2.  Completion time will vary – we will give you an estimate up front on how long it may take to complete your order.  If your request is not in our regular line of work, it may not be feasible for us to take on due to design and development time needed.

3.  You may normally cancel your order prior to commencement of work on commissioned work.  If you do need to cancel the contract, your deposit money will be refunded to you within 30 days.  If work has already begun on your pottery commission, the order cannot be cancelled.

4.  All commissioned pottery is unique and as such, will have variations in color, texture and size due to the nature of clay, glazes, and the firing process.

5.  Special orders cannot be returned.

6.  Yellow Room Arts reserves the rights to use images of special orders for business purposes.
